I have stayed here at the strawberry valley inn many times over the past few years and each experience has always exceeded my expectations for a small town inn. The location,staff, and charming appearance of the inn make it worth it to me. The rooms are always very clean and I feel safe here. With prices of dining out being high, I really appreciated the complementary breakfast. It was great to know each morning I could get some protein, fruit, and a waffle if I wanted. I’d consider their breakfast a step above the continental. The harvest restaurant next door at their sister property the Shasta inn is truly something special for dinner, I was not expecting such a fine dining experience. I believe a local family owns and operates both! The front desk woman, Shyanne, I believe is her name.. is so thoughtful and understanding. She went above and beyond to give me local recommendations for dining, hiking, and relaxing. One night I locked myself out of my room after midnight by accident and within minutes she was there to help with a new key and was so kind about it. If you’re looking for small town magic and want to feel taken care of, this is the place. Also, the rose and flower garden in front of the beautiful lawn is so lovely in the spring.

Super convenient as it is one of the very first things seen on the right-hand side if you come into town from the South. Pull right up to your room. Comfortable room with electric fireplace and an absolutely beautiful skylight which shone into both the bath and vanity area. Check in was easy and friendly. The office is in the amazing old house which contains the dining area and the kitchen where breakfast is made by the lovely cook. She takes your order and makes it just for you. Sitting in the dining room, enjoying a waffle, peering out the windows into the yard where a fresh blanket of snow covered the ground was exquisite. Check out took less than five seconds. Mexican food next door was great for me. Short walk to more food, coffee, groceries, a laundromat, as well as more shops on the main drag which you'll reach in about 5 minutes walking. I hope to be back again.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying at the Strawberry Inn for over 20 years. Always a first class experience with a first class staff. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable and 1st class experience in a beautiful.environment.

The Azalea and Cheyenne were absolutely fantastic—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding, featuring homemade waffles, fresh fruit, and eggs. They even offered complimentary wine, and kindly helped us pack breakfast to take on our trip. The place was spotless, felt completely safe, and had a charm that easily surpassed the big-name hotels. We stayed at four different hotels during our trip, and this one was by far the best of the best.

Friendly staff, immaculate rooms but they need to install shower grab bars. Plentiful towels and blankets, new climate control. Close to all sports, arts, tourism, cuisine. Tons of fun nearby and a very romantic place. Nicest staff. Free parking. Quiet place. No train or traffic noise. Ideal.

Really enjoyed my experience staying here for 2 nights for our trip. Nice hotel with clean rooms, at a great location where you can drive to all the great sightseeing places near Mt. Shasta. Each room had a sitting area right outside. At the center is a century old 2 story house where they serve complementary breakfast, and also complementary wine from 5-6pm. What really stood out was how nice all of the staff was. From check-in to the tasty breakfast, the staff was amazing! Very nice and genuine people that made the stay memorable! Thank you!

Wonderful place to stay! I travel a lot for work and stay in a lot of hotels (Hilton and Marriott) this was the cleanest place I have stayed in a long time. Lesley and Tiffany were amazing! Breakfast was delicious blueberry waffles, fruit and eggs. This was our second time in Mount Shasta and we will stay here when we visit again.

Sweet spot with vintage vibes, great pricing, very comfortable bed and spacious room. Complimentary glass of wine in the evening and a generous waffle breakfast. Sweet garden. Walkable to downtown. The staff was so kind with great recommendations on hikes, restaurant's and special local spots. We'll be back for sure.

Great hotel with complimentary waffle breakfast, free coffee, great prices and location, wi- fi, and the best was Tiffany. She helped us tremendously with our weekend’s agenda. Tiffany gave us positive directions and advice where to go as well as areas to be cautious. Tiffany was outstanding and a professional and made this trip one of the best.
